Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C. is currently developing a continuing education series for referral veterinarians. These events will be RACE approved and can be used to obtain CE-credits. Specific information on location, time, and date for each event will be mailed to our referring veterinarians several weeks in advance.

Arthroscopy in Small Animal Patients - presented by Dr. Dirsko J.F. von Pfeil, Dr.med.vet, DVM, DACVS, DECVS. Dr. von Pfeil has performed arthroscopy over the past 6 years while working at Michigan State and Kansas State University. He has been the driving force to advance minimal invasive surgery at Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C.

Laparoscopy and Thoracoscopy - presented by Dr. Clarence A. Rawlings, DVM, PhD, DACVS. Dr. Rawlings has 35 years of experience in teaching surgery to veterinary students, technicians, interns, residents, practitioners, and specialists. He has developed several new endoscopic procedures, and directs the Veterinary Endoscopy Training Symposia at the University of Georgia.
