Bailey Cranmer cares for our patients after hours and makes sure that they get to go for walks and have a clean and cozy cage. She has been with Veterinary Specialists of Alaska since May 2009 and enjoys the rewards of working with animals at this practice. Bailey graduated from high school in 2008 and is not quite sure yet what her next professional steps will be. We want her to stay as long as possible, because she does a fantastic job!
Christine Hooper
Christine Hooper has been with Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C. since 2005. She works with great enthusiasm in our center for physical rehabilitation together with Dr. Chang. She owns seven dogs herself, which often help educate our clients as “models” when showing what physical therapy exercises can be done with our patients. Christine is also an excellent mechanic, who not only helps things go smoothly with the equipment at VSOA, but also repairs other professional machines in her spare time. She loves to ski, skijour, mush, hike, and enjoys the great nature, surrounding Anchorage!
Sandy Gary
Sandy Gary has been with Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C. since 2004. She works long and hard hours as our full time kennel technician, assisting with radiographs, ensuring the physical safety of our patients, and providing optimum facility sanitation. A place like ours would not run well without such a dedicated technician. Her love of all animals provides a quality experience of our patients while in her care. Sandy’s free time is spent caring for her pets, which includes a Labrador retriever, a cat, two birds, and eight tanks of fish (including several fish rescued from our local Animal Control facility).
