Veterinary Specialists of Alaska is seeking a board certified or residency trained small animal surgeon.  If you are a motivated, compassionate team player with a taste for adventure, our well established referral practice may be just the place for you.  

We are fully equipped to provide state of the art care to our population of athletic, adventuresome patients.  Our practice is equipped for arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, total hip replacement, TPLO and soft tissue surgery.  We have in-house digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasonography.  We have access to off-site MRI and CT for more advanced imaging.

Anchorage is perfectly situated to provide you with the best of both worlds.  With ready access to the vast Alaskan wilderness, you are minutes away from world class skiing, fishing, snow machining,  and whitewater, flatwater, and blue water boating.  There are unlimited options for hiking and mountain biking.  After a day (or a week!) of adventure, Anchorage provides all the amenities of city life with fantastic venues for arts, entertainment and fine dining.  Anchorage is also home to a variety of local brewpubs with local microbrews on tap.
